A President Like

Do we want a president like Senator Katherine Laforge?
Someone who wants wind turbines, standing in every gorge.
A woman whose ideas, often redden official faces,
And then she is reprimanded for that, by those in high places.
Do we want a president like Senator Katherine Laforge?
A woman who had the gall, to run against John and George,
Someone who risked her life, to set the war right,
And try to prevent death, with her clandestine flight.
Do we want a president like Senator Katherine Laforge?
Who wants to put an end to the OPEC scourge.
With deaths of our soldiers, in a country in tatters,
I think it's time we let Katherine do something that matters.
